Established in 2001, ASDDW, a local CSO, has been active in the field of rural development. It is registered with the Department of Social Welfare and the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh. Initially, ASDDW started its activities in Batiaghat and Dacope sub-district under Khulna district and then expanded its activities in other parts of Bangladesh. The aim of the organization is to alleviate poverty and empowerment of rural poor women.
